Late Start

This weekend we had a major storm hitting Seattle hard so that we were without power for several days. At first I was upset (as if you can be upset with nature) but then I enjoyed the camping style with propane cooking and stories in candle light.
It also gave me a couple more days in Seattle before I started the drive down to Fresno.

It was still raining when I left and the further I got South the colder it became. It was a long drive to Ashland where I stayed with my good friends Bill and Cat. The temperature dropped drastically and it was 17 degrees fahrenheit when I checked the outside thermometer.
Luckily we had a good wood stove and some warm tea to make up for it.
